Donations and Payroll Giving

Making a one-off donation directly to us either by debit/credit card or cheque may not be as much fun as taking part in a challenge event or volunteering, but it could be crucial to some of the nurses and retired nurses we support.

A simple donation to us will mean that a nurse who is in financial need through illness, an accident or through family circumstances can receive the support they deserve. - often after a career of caring, selflessly for others.

Payroll Giving

One of the most simple and tax efficient ways to give to NurseAidis through your monthly salary - and it helps us because we rely on a regular stream of income to help as many nurses as we can.

Because monthly payroll giving donations are taken from your gross salary, a £10 donation to NurseAid each month would cost you just £8, and only £6 for a higher-rate tax payer. And because it goes out of your salary automatically, you'll hardly notice the difference.

Many companies also choose to match the amounts contributed by their employees, which could make your donation even more valuable.

Ask your company if they run a Payroll Giving scheme. If they do, you simply need to complete the forms they give you. If your company doesn't have a scheme, the Charities Aid Foundation can offer them advice on 01732 520 000 or contact our fundraising team on 01527 595999 or email them.
